    Affiliation: Dr Damian Redfearn was recruited to Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2006 and was appointed Director of the Heart Rhythm Service in 2007. He has overseen the growth of the electrophysiology program at Kingston General Hospital with the addition of complex ablation and the delivery of a full spectrum of electrophysiology services and procedures to the south eastern Ontario region. Dr Redfearn is a clinician scientist with a special interest in applied computer science holds several peer reviewed research grants to investigate the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmia through advanced signal processing.
